ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT at CES!!! It is vital to your child’s academic success that he or she begins exhibiting good attendance now. Attendance matters for every child in every grade from pre-Kindergarten through high school. Our goal for our students is to be HERE, EVERY DAY, READY, & ON TIME!!
- School begins promptly at 8:00 AM and dismisses at 3:00 PM.
- Students will be counted tardy if they arrive after 8:00 AM.
- Tardies do add up and once multiple tardies are acquired they eventually can be counted as a whole day absent.
- If your child leaves before 2:45 this will be recorded and also counted towards instructional time lost in the form of a tardy.
- Parent Note Guidelines: 8 days of parent notes, total, for the school year. CES staff believes that attendance in school begins in elementary school.
